Pinging @bghgary, who can give lots more detail
That is correct. We are using bgfx underneath which can target D3D11, D3D12, Vulkan, OpenGL, or Metal.
It should ran as fast or faster than a browser. It will use less memory than a browser as it does not have an HTML DOM. It is expected that the consumer provides the UI framework (e.g. React Native).
Let me know if you have more questions.
Yes, though we have yet to try. As long as the UI framework can render a texture, then it should work.
Someone is welcome to capture from this if they wanted?
I’m developing a PvP card-game with Babylon. It’s not the most flashy use of a 3D engine, but I have big plans for it and the feedback of the current player base is extremely promising.
@mise this is rad! You should add it to the community demos section of the website!
Hello @PirateJC! Nice to know you plan to make a roking video again!
Here are the two last Naker tools using 4.1:
Tell me if we can help in the video creation process.
@PichouPichou you rock! Awesome to see these!
Hey Everyone…just wanted to spin this thread back up again.
We’re aiming for a release window around end of Feb for 4.1!!! Super exciting. That means it’s time to start collecting demos from folks again. Please use this thread to submit anything you’ve made with Babylon 4.1, or made with any Babylon version in the last 8 months.
Doesn’t have to be finished projects either. Fun NME experiments, WIP stuff…submit all of it.
While we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to showcase everything, we definitely want to consider everything you all have made!
Hi, probably this is not exactly what you need, but I’m working on a simple and specific 3d arcade, but there is only Russuian language in interface and couple of bugs in game mechanics. But everyone may check it out.
I made a small noise shader and used it for an explosion like effect (animated displacement and texturing). Could that be of interest?
Absolutely! Thanks @dannybucksch!
Great, I hope you can use it! The NME and your videos are really cool btw.
I made another demo which @Deltakosh even kindly twittered about, which blew me away…thank you!
keep up the amazing work!
Thank you for your help as well! we are a team!
Yup! Agreed! It’s the work of everyone that makes this platform sing!
I tried to make some procedural planet nodematerials:
Awesome!!! Thanks @dannybucksch
We made a 3D viewer configurator for our RapidCompact cloud solution, where the 3D part is entirely made with BabylonJS. Specifically focused on B2B cases for e-commerce:
If you’re interested in showcasing, just let me know what you’d need (video snippet? pictures? description?)
Keep up the great work!
