Best way to learn camera math?

Hi everyone,
I’m pretty new to 3D so I need to understand how to work with the camera. Is there a good source that covers the basics? All this matrix stuff and camera forward and whatnot is pretty overwhelming and I’d like to be able to work out character movement, projectile trajectory, etc in relation to the cameras position/rotation.
