Blinking while grid moving

I believe you Guys have all noticed the same as me. From the camera, when looked at into the depth (z-Axis) the grid doesn’t blink. Only the moire effect eventually appears. Turn the camera 90°, to look at it into the width (x-axis) and all horizontal lines are blinking.

Edit: This one is even more interesting. Position arc cam to a top view. Rotate the ground 90° to see or not see at all the minor lines.

The bottleneck is the human eye and/or mind.

So much for the moire effect. Playing with the human eye is also part of a designer’s work, isn’t it? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
However, this doesn’t explain why the minor lines don’t show at all when viewed from a different cam angle (x vs z). I think there must be something just not entirely correct with this shader (my opinion only).
