Cancel a Animation.CreateAndStartAnimation

Is there a way to stop Animation.CreateAndStartAnimation that is already in motion mid cycle? So, cancel it all together?

Can you not call stop() on the returned animation ?

Will look into it tomorrow am,
It never showed up as an active animation in inspector, so figured somehow they were different. Stop did not seem to really do it from what I remember before, but I tabled this bug a few months back.
