COLORDER - a color gradient puzzle game

Hi everyone!

I’ve been working on a puzzle game called COLORDER, and it’s now in a playable state, so I’d like to share it here.

It’s a browser game with simple rules: drag blocks to swap them and complete a smooth color gradient. All the in-game objects are rendered in 3D with Babylon.js.

It’s still in beta, so I’d love to hear any feedback, whether it’s about the difficulty, the touch controls, or anything else. I hope you enjoy it!

This is soooo cool. The final animation when the puzzle connects is so smooth, I love it.

Really smooth! Got to level 40 before I remembered that I have a job. Surprisingly, I had the most trouble with the 9 squares. Not sure why.

What’s the significance of the white vs black screws?

Thanks for the feedback!
The white/black screws don’t have any gameplay significance — I just switch the color depending on the background for better contrast.

Quick update: COLORDER is now out of beta! Thank you so much for all the kind words and feedback.

A few changes since the first post:

  • The outer rings on the circle boards are wider now, so they’re easier to grab on mobile and the colors are easier to compare.
  • The drop-target outline now has a smooth shape and a neutral color, so it no longer clashes with the block colors.
