Controlling sprite animation with audio (visualizer)

Hey there curious if is was possible to control a sprite with easing and controlling its position in the sprite with an audio file. For example when an audio visualizer would pump, instead it would cycle through the sprite to 100 then to frame 0, where an example normal visualizer would make geometry 100% size then scale to 0.
