# Export GLb or GLTF with PBRMetallicRoughnessMaterial materials from Maya

Hi,

is there a way to export Meshes with PBRMetallicRoughnessMaterial Materials? at the moment i only can export PBR Materials, and they behave different, and as far as I know Once Imported i cannot change the material Class of the Material

How do you export them? using babylon format or gltf?

using the babylon exporter in Maya I usually export GLB or GLTF

Ok so this is by design. gltf expects materials to be PBRMaterial 🙂

ah ok. So if I have a model in Maya the only way to export it for use in Babylon with PBRMetallicRoughnessMaterials is exporting in BABYLON format, right?
