Matched mesh normals still results in a seam

Hello!

I have two models, a head and a body. In Blender I have transferred normals from a joined model to the vertices on the head and body. From close up it is seamless.

However as one zooms out the seam is very noticeable, any ideas?

Are your underlying textures colors dilated past the UV coordinates? If not then it might be a sampling issue.
