# Updating cone height and diameter

What is the best way to update height and diameterBottom of a cone? I don’t see a property for that.

You can scale it on x or y axis?

Not really, scaling introduces distortions depending on rotation: [https://playground.babylonjs.com/#UPCCKY#1](https://playground.babylonjs.com/#UPCCKY#1). Unless I misunderstood your comment.

Got it. Scale x and z for diameter and scale y for height.
