Hey guys, i’m trying to implements settings for my game and one of setting is engine selection.
Player can select which engine(WebGL or WebGPU) game will use.

I used babylon’s offline support for indexedDB
With WebGL it game works as expected but when i enable WebGPU i see errors in console that engine tries to load files with additional number after name (data)

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex024/uploads/babylonjs/original/3X/1/8/184a5ebbf3dff0b5aede61e72d3ad2d811e16a2c.png)
after unsuccessful load it loads it without additional number(check 1 and 3 line in screenshot) and it’s successful. is there any way to disable first load try? i have 204 errors in logs because of that:)

I use
IDBStorageEnabled = true;
disableManifestCheck = true;
enableOfflineSupport = true;

if i disable enableOfflineSupport errors are missing. if disable disableManifestCheck errors are still there
Thanks!

Do you have a simple repro we can look at in the Playground?

looks like babylons tries to add timestamp here too
i think it may be related to initial problem.

Thanks!

Nice catch!

Here we are: [Fix bug when blob where requested to IDB by deltakosh · Pull Request #16930 · BabylonJS/Babylon.js](https://github.com/BabylonJS/Babylon.js/pull/16930/files)

Hey, why then there is no errors in WebGL engine? this part of code looks common. WebGL engine uses some other code?

Thanks!

Because webGPU requires the use of blob to load data 🙂
