Help, movement like Slither.io

Hi i am creating a game, mi game have not ground (space game) i tried create movement like “follow mouse” with delay, but ther result hast not good, i did with regular events of DOM, is very imprecise,

example is in Babylonjs v 3, but now is in bjs4

i need coordinates of mouse from 3d world at mousemove (from mobile device, is with virtual joystyck, also gamepad)

only z and x coordinates, y alwais is 0

Could you not pick on an invisble ground laying at the ship y position ? this might be the easiest ?
