Which is better, ActionManager or scene. onPointerObservable, and which one should I use?
Both are fine
- Actions are interesting if you want to build a set of actions that are linked together
- onPointerObservable is more simple in a sense that it will give you all the events and you’ll deal with them
Now my requirement is to add move-in and move-out click events to 1,000 + models, and to make a lot of useless judgments (grid is not equal to empty judgments, etc.) with onPointerObservable, and whether adding ActionManager to each model will cause performance pressure.
So probably onPointerObservable is the best one. For large scene, it will be faster
