I need some web development help. I have more time than money and I own a custom cabinet shop, so I was wondering if anyone was interested in trading coding time for cabinet making labor. You would have to pay for some or all of the materials. The ideal person would be proficient in Babylon (see postscript below) and optionally a full stack developer. 3D functionality is a key part of the project, but not the majority. I have a very good idea of the functional specs of the system I have in mind, but we would have to work together to create a road map. Since there would be a significant amount of programming required, it would be good if you had a decent amount of cabinets or millwork you wanted like a kitchen or a whole house. Maybe some garage cabinets? We will have to discuss how to coordinate the projects, but I am thinking we could try to synchronize milestones?
My cabinet shop is in Western Washington, but I could deliver or ship (at your expense) to anywhere in the US and possibly Canada. Someone from the Northwest US would be ideal.
I have worked for two internet startups, so I have some experience in taking a project from idea to launch. I have a fair amount of experience in the domain the project is intended to serve.
A written agreement and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) will be required to ensure clarity and protect both of us.
If you’re interested in trading web development for cabinet-making labor, please feel free to send me a direct message. I’d love to discuss how we can work together!
Kind regards,
Bill

I think I am to the point that I can handle most of the non 3D functionality. So, if anyone is open to the same basic idea, but primarily focused on the Babylon stuff, please get in touch.
