I believe these features will be available in no time ![]()
This happens to me: 1 of 10 PGs got dumped like this ![]()
@sebavan @Deltakosh I suggested maybe 2 years ago to autosave the last PG to the localstorage. It was declined back then. I’m still convinced it would help to prevent code loss in such a case as seen on the meme or just because the PG is unresponsive, etc…
I had a look at the topic you speak about and I have to say I understand the point of saving as less as possible on user machine. I had totally forgot about this safeMode param, and indeed it works even for page reload. Maybe you forgot its existence as well ? ![]()
I started a playground-revamp initiative ![]()
I’ll take this suggestion into account.
But safe mode IS a thing. I recommend turning it on ![]()
It’s for the user’s safety…
What does it exactly do?
asks you if you really meant to reload the page if any change has been made without saving.
Yes I knew about it and used it a lot
but it’s too hot today to remember everything

EDIT:
Ok, I knew about this for real
But it used to be checked by default?!
Can we share our further suggestions somewhere?
I’ll write a blog post about it very soon, and will share my thoughts. Then i’ll start a thread here to get some feedback.
OMG! I love this topic! I legit LOL like a dumb:) Thanks folks!

My experience on this forum…

that one is a scary scenario… when you have begun to loose a firm grasp of your own logic you created.
Although I find this is a natural part of rapid development , normally things build up - then require a dedicated indepth recap study of the logic and flow of functionality - then a major refactor session , so you get back on top of eveything. rinse and repeat ![]()
