Hey all! Happy to share I joined the Babylon.js development team last week! Here is a link to my blog post introducing myself and explaining my journey.
I’ll be starting with a ~UI refresh~ of our tooling and doing some explorations with AI, please @me with any tooling issues/requests, or any thoughts about AI possibilities!
As I say in my post, I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from / with you all! This is an incredible community and there is SO much to explore within the 3D world, I’m excited to dive in!.
Cool! Excited to see your contributions! I’m also excited about AI possibilities. I like how easy it is to deploy a simple immersive VR experience using babylonjs, and the APIs are generally pretty good for simple things like moving, scaling objects etc. But for anything that is a character (has bones etc), it becomes a whole other tier of difficulty and complexity and there is huge gap in tooling to make walking, talking avatars, etc. I’m interested in knowing if AI or other tooling can fill this gap.
