It would be very handy and cool if we had a place in docs or even an api to check if a file format, be it image file formats for textures or, 3d model formats, is supported by Babylonjs.
Would you like to make a pull request for it on the doc ??? or should we add it here (@PirateJC) Babylon.js: Powerful, Beautiful, Simple, Open - Web-Based 3D At Its Best ???
I you ask me the same or similar page to specifications page can be also in docs. Or even a feature detection tool in misc/tools would be very cool like we do in web code, e.g. checking window object with in operator`, however that may require more work.
