Heya, I recommend remapping the UVs in a DCC tool like Blender rather than trying to fix the UVs using texture transformation (scale, offset, etc) as it will be much easier to get it looking how you want that way IMO.
Edit: despite my own advice I couldn’t resist playing with it a little in the PG hah. I just played with the texture properties in the inspector and then in the custom shader part checked if the uv coordinate is outside of the 0 to 1 range and if so assigned a teal-like color to roughly match the texture’s background color. But eg if you want something other than a solid color on the back and sides of the mesh then I still think a DCC tool is the way to go.
Thanks you so much @Blake for information. Im not familiar with blender tool so i have asked a designer to get a material and texture along with UV co-ordinates so that i can add texture properly.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to illustrate my 3rd alternative from my PM to @Pavanpk on this matter. And then, we all come to the same conclusion. Means I am not that useless after all. Just that makes me happy already
