It worked perfectly in 5.0.0-alpha12, but since then it got broken in 5.0.0-alpha14.
What happens now is zoom-in doesn’t work (has no effect), and zoom-out zooms out at insane speed.
Browser used is Mozilla Firefox 86.0.
