Babylon Native for AR/3D scanning?

@bghgary is or will it be possible to do native AR/3D scanning of objects with Babylon Native? I.e. rotate or walk around an object with video pass through and it assembles a texture mapped, tracked mesh in the foreground? Is something like that built into OpenXR, on the roadmap for Babylon Native, or would it require additional native code to achieve?

No, we don’t have any plans for this. I don’t believe OpenXR has anything like this. This is quite difficult with just a normal RGB camera.
