Crowbar Hunt — Sci‑Fi Creature Farming & Containment Game (Babylon.js)**
Hello Babylon.js community!
I have been studying and developing with Babylon.js on my own for almost a year now. From the first moment I discovered it, I was truly impressed and inspired.
I’m excited to showcase my current project: Crowbar Hunt, a sci‑fi containment and creature-farming game built entirely with Babylon.js. Explore a secret underground lab, gather resources, and manage a variety of creatures, from slimes to bio-engineered monsters, within secured Containment rooms.
Play here: https://crowbarhunt.online
This project features:
- Real-time physics (Havok)
- Dynamic lighting + particle effects
- Full 3D environment with sci-fi Containment rooms
- Creature farming & progression system
- Crowbar discovery & ability mechanics
- Multiplayer / cooperative gameplay elements (coming soon expansions)
I built everything from scratch as a passion project — and I’d love your feedback, ideas, and optimization suggestions.
What are Containments?
Containments are secured lab rooms, each holding different types of creatures waiting to be farmed. Players can enter these rooms to collect resources, farm monsters, and climb the global leaderboard. Some Containments require a minimum score to unlock — making progression strategic and rewarding.
Why the name “Crowbar Hunt”?
The core objective is to search for Crowbars hidden around the facility. Each Crowbar has different abilities or status effects, allowing you to farm creatures more efficiently inside Containments — or even use it for future PvP modes.
Thank you for checking it out! Let me know what you think or how I can improve — especially performance / gameplay clarity.
