Curious about how to create transluscent laves in babylon

I’ve been searching around for translucency in babylon, but all I can find is transparency. what I’m looking for is a material that takes the shadow information from the front face, displays that on the face pointing away from the light and adds emission. Is there a way to do this in the NME?

We do support translucency: Mastering PBR Materials | Babylon.js Documentation

But this mode does not support back shadows as this would be pretty expensive.

I do not think you can easily do it in nme. This would require some complex math to be added I believe (knowing the one done for front shadows).
