Is there maybe another way to hide it?
It looks like there is only workarounds possible.
Maybe something like setting the bounding box very far away or use a fully transparent material.

Yup i found a workaround
Instead of making a mesh with submeshes, I made an abstract mesh with child meshes. then since the child meshes can be made invisible, made them invisible
