How do you create a polyhedron that is in specific orientation?

Unlike a simple box mesh (which is aligned to all 3 axis), a polyhedron mesh created using the MeshBuilder does not seemed to be aligned to any axis and are in some angled orientation. This makes the polyhedron rather awkward to use.
Is there a way to make a polyhedron, e.g. a triangular prism, that has its faces aligned to particular axis?

You can rotate the polyhedron to align it with the axis? If you have a PG showing what you’re trying to do, it would help me understand your need better
