I am an Arch Linux user from GDevelop on Windows

Out of the 5.5 years I have been game developing, 2 were spent in GDevelop[1]. I lot has changed since I started in GDevelop.

I switched to Arch Linux.

My big game got scrapped.

My vision of being a game developer has changed from simplicity to absolute control[2].

And now, I am here. An Arch Linux user who develops 2D games using only Typescript, babylon.js, and VSCode.

My first project in Typescript is code-named Project Rogueguns. It will be the fourth installment that will completely rewrite a long-lasting game series I’ve had.

More information about it will be revealed on my website in the future.

Hi! Welcome!

The community here has always been very friendly and highly knowledgeable!

I also use Arch Linux and Babylon.js—it’s been the best game development experience I’ve had so far; TypeScript and Vite.js really boost productivity!
