Just a quick note to let you all know that the selection process for the Interop 2026 focus areas has officially begun.
For those unfamiliar, Interop is a collaborative effort between major browser vendors and developers to identify and tackle key compatibility issues on the web, ensuring features work reliably across all browsers.
Given our collective interest in the future of web 3D, I’ve taken the liberty of logging an argument for WebGPU to be included.

If you have a spare minute, please consider having a look at the thread and perhaps adding an upvote or a brief comment. Highlighting why WebGPU would be a beneficial selection for a performance-focused framework like Babylon would be hugely helpful.
As with all these selections, a wave of community support might not guarantee its selection, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt our chances!
