Large highlight of mesh behind partly visible mesh

When adding a highlight to a mesh that is partly occluded by another mesh that is partly visible it will show a large block of highlighting colour through the partly visible mesh:

You could try to use a glow instead as it might better leverage transparency.

And another option is to add the second sphere to the HL as an excluded mesh so that it does’t affect the highlighting at all…

Thanks! Is there a way to get just the edge to glow rather the whole mesh?
