I wish you were my father, my mentor back then
Have there been any studies? Which ones, where (journal), methodology…?
Negative feedback is something positive Negative feedback is what drives change (improvement).
Your father? You can’t be serious Ok, I may be old… but I’m not done yet
Back when? Back then, I was just another idiot and a jerk thinking "I’m gonna change the world… finger in the nose"
. Whereas, it took me no less than 3 decades to (somewhat) affirm myself and be only but just somewhat less wrong than what I usually am
Let’s face it: I’m really not much more than a student
with some grey hair
Come on, I didn’t take our ages into account
haha , i was waiting for that one . I have no idea , I copied the quote from a search via google and pasted it here to stir the pot a bit
Anway , it go’s both ways in that sense , there is no proof for either side of that argument , its just assumptions based on biased opinions.
There are obviously pro’s and con’s , which have different weight based on context.
Just bouncing on this to balance and explain my comment/meme. Again, not being a DEV but rather a PM/AD, there’s at least one thing I can say (and agree with @shaderbytes). Having ‘explicit’/‘plain english’ script is (in my opinion) a good thing. DEVS and ENG cannot remain just the only owners of a project (especially when the scope is kinda broad). We may not understand (need to understand) each and every details of a script (algorythm, process, method…) but somehow, having more people getting a better understanding of what’s going on is, I think, something positive. I certainly do appreciate JS for this. However, when it comes to creating classes, private, static, public and stuff… well, honestly, it is kind of a bit more tedious (and adds ‘complexity’ or less readibility). Again, my opinion only. I suppose - as in everything - there are pros and cons. I personally like JS because it is more ‘accessible’ for my level of coding skills
I feels like, it make them easy to be click on it with them having colour inside the shape.
Just like the one I modify for my folders appearance.
The outline came to me from the idea to make it fit wit dark and light themes.
