Multiple Sun Shadows, is this right?

We had already feature freeze. We need cascaded shadows for our next project.

@oglu Maybe some of your team member would like to contribute it if it can not wait 4.2 ?

I could help them but won’t have full dedicated time before end of 4.1 where I am planing to do it.

At the moment we dont have the resources. Sorry.
And for the current project its fine without.

Open source is also about helping and not just asking. And I can’t let you say that there is no way to get good shadows with 4.1. This is just wrong. We have plenty of examples coming with great shadows.

The fact you cannot share repros does not help helping you.

If there are Artist Tasks im ready to help.
But i have no idea how to write code.
Im good in finding bugs and i report them.

If you have a big terrain and a flat camera angle there arnt much options to get clean Shadows all the way up to the horizon plus crisp closeup shadows.
