is there some kind of Steam equivalent for games made for the web? a platform that showcases / sells access to web games? so, for example, if you were to make a game with BABYLON JS, where would you release it?
i’m not too familiar with the gaming ecosystem - so forgive if this is a dumb question!

I am not really experienced in this topic, but there are exist browser game platforms where you can publish your games and the platform will share with you ads revenue.
These are some I’m aware of:

Sell your indie games online - itch.io (I think this is something similar to Steam)
Probably Facebook games platform (if it’s still alive)
