Please don’t beat me, I’m not familiar with english language, I’ve just seen the example from the official BJS documentation with the title: AlphaF*ck
Babylon.js docs - the first example here has that title: https://playground.babylonjs.com/#1PHYB0#81
I actually don’t know if this a good word or not the best one but I thought maybe you forgot about this part of the documentation and this is not the best thing to see for newbies everytime they come to this tutorial
But actually it really great explain what we do see in this example really, I don’t understand what’s going on with all those alpha objects when you rotate a camera. Maybe this is really the best word to describe it
Fucking seriously??
good catch for @PatrickRyan we need to update that pg
It’s a good word because it can be used as a vowel, adjective or noun. It’s like using var
! Probably too verbose.
In all seriousness, it’s not good having profanity as it can cause web blockers to kick-in at corporate level. May also be bad for SEO! We’re PG rated, right?
@Lemcat, thanks for the catch! @Deltakosh, I have spoken with @RaananW and the best path forward is to change the title the PG is saved under. Due to the way the data is now stored with more security, Raanan will have to look into the best way to batch change the titles of the 80 versions of that PG. But the one linked in the docs will be changed manually first to solve the immediate problem. The larger fix will correct for anyone who has bookmarked the PG and for any bots crawling our site for SEO.
#81 was updated and should show a new title already. Refreshing might be needed due to local cache, but CDN was already updated. About the other versions - I am taking care of it. Thanks for reporting!!!
#81, which is the one used in the documentation, is updated thanks to @RaananW!
Is the playground data accessible via PHP/SQL? I’m happy to carry-out an audit and report back any profanity keyword matches.
nope, it is not. but we do have a snippet search in the doc page, where you can search by title and/or description.
I ran the query, it seems like there a few snippets that can be changed, I will see how well I can automated that.
This query will henceforth be known as the George Carlin Query
