I work for Wrapmate (https://wrapmate.com/) and we recently partnered with Volkswagen to provide a 3D configurator that allows purchasing of custom wraps for their new ID. Buzz vehicle that will be coming to the U.S. later this year. You can purchase DIY wraps right now, with full wrapping options becoming available at a later date.
the ground shadow could probably be alot better than it is currently.
The model does not move and lighting doesnt change so this could be a hight quality baked texture. Currently it doesnt look like it was baked using this model. The back wheels appear to be above the ground ( its just an optical illusion though from lack of contrast at wheel/floor contact ) but even looking at the model from the front the shadow does not even reach the end of the wheel width :
Thanks for the feedback! Completely agree that the shadow can be better. Right now we are using Babylon’s Shadow Casters, which aren’t strictly necessary, since as you said, the model doesn’t move and we don’t really need real time shadows. It was just quicker to implement.
Congratulations on landing such a great project. The original Kombi was (and still is) such an icon for customization in the 1970s. It is amazing to see a modern take on it!
