This looks nice and is fun to play. Is it using Babylon.js for rendering?
I am very grateful for the open-source Babylon.js project, which has taught me a lot.
In this game, I tried using WebGPU to learn its API, so I didn’t fully use Babylon.js for rendering. Instead, I modified the rendering part based on the Babylon.js architecture.
It’s super impressive you managed to make this work in such a small amount of time
I have some framedrops when destructing some objects with the knife but overall it is a good experience!
This is a really good project. I am working on something similar an FPS template for VR using Havok physics. Do you have a sample FPS project we can use. Playground examples? That can break down what’s going on in here in smaller modules we can reuse? This is really good. Thanks
I can link the other thread I am working on but so far I got a scene with basic Havok physics working. I just need to pick up from there and add the other elements such as shooting things and a whole lot of other elements
OMG. I crushed a pumpkin with my hammer and it exploded I hope the real version pumpkin won’t explode when I chop it. Because it’s soon going to be season and I’m planning to make some soup and pie… Now, I’m afraid of what will happen
Sidenote: May be change ‘click to active’ for ‘click to activate’ (or something similar ). Obviously, since this will be my only comment for now, you can assume that the rest of the experience/gameplay is actually fairly good - pretty good, in fact (and quite impressive giving the short time spent (8-months, is it?).
