Color Transition with Tween or Something else

Hi all,
please have a look into the above link. In that while changing color of the car, there is a different transition is happen. Is this done by Tweenjs or someother libraries. How can I achieve this. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply @kvasss . But in the example you have shared, the animation is done entirely at the moment. But My Actual need is, the color transition needs to be done from a vertex to vertex as shown in the above link I shared.
