Can you have the directional light that will produce flat specular on the whole surface instead of that spot circular highlight?
Or have the highlight sharpness be controlled in the light instead then material?

You can set the specular color of the light to black if you don’t want the specular highlight.
Your right but I need specular I just want it to be not from a point but very big plane.
Babylon does not support area lights (yet?), so you can’t create a light with a rectangular shape.
