In order to get a better, more rounded view of BabylonJS, I started to port Code Monkey’s Kitchen Chaos Unity tutorial. The first step was to convert his models, which mostly worked. I used FBX2glTF. The problem I’ve encountered is that the material for the character’s eyes is supposed to be black. Does anyone have any best practices or can recommend a better tool?
I would recommend Blender
facebookincubator/FBX2glTF has been unmaintained for 5 years, here are 2 more active forks (but not maintained for near a year)
Blender is more heavy, but more actively maintained, and has recently replaced their fbx parsing library

The Babylon Toolkit is great at exporting Unity Content for use with BabylonJS
Here is playground with the Unity Starter Assets exported to gltf and used with the babylon toolkit to re-implment a WebGPU Physics Based Character Controller Playground
