Is it possible to set a custom data-value to mesh?

Hi there,

I would like to give additional infos to some meshes. like “type=table” oder “person=michael”.
So when I pick a mesh that I am able to read these values.

Like the .data() function in jQuery.

yes this is possible with mesh.metadata
