Monoscopic WebXR?

Hello everyone!

I have made a small research on documentation and the forum on how to enter WebXR without stereoscopic cameras, in order to use the Android device’s screen as the output, but I couldn’t find an answer to it, or just missed.

I remember a couple years ago, the WebXR session was starting in monoscopic mode.

I’ll be very grateful for any help.

Thanks!

Starting an ar session (on Android) will start a fullscreen monoscopic session:

@RaananW I see the problem now. The device I’m testing with is quite old and gives an error on “immersive-ar” somehow, but works in “immersive-vr”. It used to work a couple years ago. I asked a friend to check and their device works. I’ll be looking into it further.

@james598keen Are you mentioning native browser API? Or a Babylon JS feature?

This is a spam account, don’t expect an answer

It is sadly an issue with older devices. You used to be able to install the ar services, but now it’s google’s decision.
