Parenting individual SPS particles to transform nodes

Hi, is there an out of the box way to parent each individual SPS particles to separate transform nodes? (i.e. things in normal space, not inside the SPS where I could use parentId)

Or would I need to copy across the properties from the transform node myself?

The use case is different armour meshes being parented to different players.
