I just want to share some early WIP footage. It’s a real wind forecast data visualization (from 03/18/2025 to 03/22/2025) data from Noaa. Resolution 0.25 deg - 1,036,800 points.

In short, cycle data consists of two PNG images: uWind and vWind (each 1440x721 pixels on red value only), representing wind orientation and speed. These images are then passed to a shader for decoding. Therefore, for 120 hours, we require 240 PNG images.
