3Ds Max exporter problem with 20+ materials

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with 3Ds Max exporter - if I have a few materials, exporting to .glb goes without any problems, and if I have 20+ materials, 3Ds Max crashes… It doesn’t depend on meshes, just on materials quantity… How can I fix it? Is there any materials limit?

That’s my test scene

There are 2 cars - if I try to export one of them, everything is good, but if I try to export both of them, 3Ds Max crashes… Tried in 2018 and 2021 - the same problem…

I haven’t 3dsMax on my computer, but could you share a screenshot of your materials node, especially the multimat one?
Also, did you try the Clean MultiMaterial utility?

Thank’s for your answering! That’s one of material, they are simple, just solid color or map, reflection and some of them with transparency… With solid materials I use “Opaque” transparency mode and with “Blend” with transparent ones…

I don’t think that problems with materials as I can export any of them individually without problems, but when try to export several objects with more materials then 20 (plus-minus 2) I’ve got crashes during material exporting…

Sorry for several messages - I can add only 1 message per 1 post…
And, yes, I’ve tried Clean MultiMaterial utility - don’t have any unused materials…

OK so you now have to wait a 3dsMax user, I can’t check further ^^

Update: if I set all the materials “Transparency Mode” to “Opaque” everything is exporting without any problems, and of course transparent glasses are not transparent, but when set one of the materials to “Blend” 3Ds Max crashes… Seems to be something with merging base color and transparency weight…
