It’s that time of year again! Release prep time! Yup that’s right! Babylon.js 9.0 is currently scheduled to release at the end of March!
That means it’s time to start the process of pulling together the Babylon 9.0 release video!
Every year, the big annual release is the biggest marketing moment of the year. We celebrate each release with a special “announcement video” for the new version of Babylon. We try our best to make these videos big, bold, and exciting and we want you to be a part of it!
Each one of you is an important part of this community and we like to take this moment once a year to show you how much we appreciate you and what you create with Babylon.js, by including some of your Babylon.js creations in the release video.
If you have made something with Babylon in the last year, then you can submit your creation to be considered by simply replying to this thread with a link to something you’ve made with Babylon.js.
The submission deadline is Friday Feb 27th 2026!
Please note that due to the length of these videos (2-3 mins) and the number of submissions, we may not be able to include every submission in the video.
Check out last year’s release video to see where/how community submissions are featured!
Can’t wait to include your amazing work in the video this year!
Here’s a video recently rendered using Babylon.js 8.30.4
It might be a duplicate of what was released in version 7.0, but if it’s okay, I’d appreciate it if you could include it.
I’m visualising the start or end of this release video in the BJS Editor, a pretty scene showcasing the awesomeness with animations… then the viewport zoom-pops out and reveals the Editor UI!
I’m a software engineer at ArchVision, Inc. We’ve been building out a platform called FOVEA which utilizes Babylon.js in the frontend. Below is a summary about FOVEA. I hope you can take a look and please let me know what you think!
FOVEA is a cloud-based 3D model configuration and optimization tool powered by Babylon.js that helps creatives and visualization professionals import, edit, optimize, and export 3D content for use across multiple tools and render engines. It’s designed to speed up iteration and ensure models are ready for different production pipelines
You can try using a VPN. It’s hosted in Ho Chi Minh City on LightNode cuz I need local WebSocket connections here, but it should work from anywhere, just might be slow loading since it’s like 30mb or more.
