GUI Editor :: Loading from snippet id only (not entering full link - is incomplete)

Dears,
I noticed that when you open the GUI Editor and load from snippet, entering the full URL opens the link with the correct iteration. However, if you enter only the ID (i.e. #CITCWC#52), it ignores the versioning.
I believe this would be just a quick fix and would add to a seamless experience, yes?
