KTX2 support on 3ds Max plugin

Hey, guys and gals.

I was wondering if it is possible to export a glb file with KTX 2.0 textures using the Babylon plugin on 3ds max. If yes, how can I do that?

For this to work, however, I think that 3DS Max would need first to allow .ktx2 files as textures: is this file format supported by 3DS Max?

We do not support this format into the exporter. We may have a call to external lib (similar as what we are doing with draco) but we do not provide this feature yet. It’s may be a new feature for futur version, Feel free to propose a PR on the subject.
