Substance - 3dsMax - GLB/USDZ Workflow for AR

Hi All,

Just wanted to share our workflow for making AR assets from 3dsmax and Substance painter.

While Substance can do model exports just fine, there’s a need to use this for animated and skinned meshes.

Anyway, just wanted to share as there is a script we use to automate the physical shader rebuild from substance, ready to export to GLB.

3dsMax-Babylon GLTF Tools

This makes sure the scale is 100% correct too, which is important when delivering iOS and Android ready AR models.
