The idiot's guide to dynamic terrain

Hey y’all,

So, I’m digging into the dynamic terrain object. This is my first time working with simplex noise (I’ve used perlin noise in processing, but never for terrain). Is there a tutorial for people doing their first level with dynamic terrain that unpacks how to…

-space mountains apart
-make some craggy mountains and some soft mountains
-make some cool valleys
-make a wackadoo collider that covers all this, etc.

Kind of like the hitchhiker’s guide to using noise-based terrain?

let me ping the boss of the Dynamic Terrain @jerome

Not Babylon specific but this is an excellent introduction to the subject: Making maps with noise functions
