Description:
The Gaussian Splatting renderer displays abnormally bright artifacts when viewed from specific angles. This issue does not occur on other platforms or viewers.
Reproduction Steps:
Load the attached scene/data.
Navigate the camera to a specific angle (e.g., looking from the top-right corner).
Observe the overly bright or washed-out splats.
Expected Behavior:
The scene should maintain consistent lighting and brightness from all viewing angles, consistent with its behavior on other platforms.
Actual Behavior:
From certain angles, parts of the scene become excessively bright, degrading the visual quality and accuracy.
uhm. Interesting. Where is this coming from?
Was this an issue all the time?
Would be good to understand the source of that behavior, so we can check our project as well.
