Aside from the above (perfect answer 
to your very question), you may also want to already copy this code sample in your code so that after having found your settings/parameters playing with the inspector, you can instantly implement these changes in your scene.
Besides that, I know there’s also a community member project for a post-effect editor. To be honest I’m not a huge fan of using a lot of different editors but it might still be of interest to you.
