Soooo, not sure if anyone is familiar with evolved software (im sure you are if you have generated trees).
But anyway, they have a cache of some killer shaders
I mean for real how pretty of lighting effects.
Anyways I was reading on some of their stuff, and they have an Advance lighting system that I am really intrigued in where dude is talking about he was able to get 100 lights and their shadows down to 4 draw calls (I call bs but we shall see).
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the structure of the fx files:
Once I get how they are compiled I can start conversion but until then I’m just picking at scabs of things that I understand, like the actual shader code sections.
