Attach skin/clothing (jpg/png files) to .babylon file

Hey

Have my characters made but need to attach materials…how to accomplish this?

Thank ya

@Mekaboo You simply need to export materials and at run time after loading you can swap the current material of any meshes.

Hey @sebavan

Should I do this in the PG, Blender, or Sandbox? Are there any docs I can look at for more help?

Thank ya so much❤️

If you are exporting from Blender, the files are already being generated in the same directory, by default. You can specify a sub-directory on World properties, if desired. Either way, you need to specify a texture path for the loader.

The one exception is I you specify in-line in world properties. In that case, the textures are inside the .babylon file.
