Point cloud is not currently supported by the NME indeed.
I don’t know what is the best way to add this support, I think we need to discuss it with the team.

We could think of a special node maybe to add support for it (the amount of shader code is pretty low)
Is there still no way to control a point cloud via NME? It has a particle editor but that seems more focused on making particles.
Yeah unfortunately this is not a supported feature. As mentioned earlier the shader rendering part of point cloud is minimal.
